Some journeys begin in youth, while others begin when the world believes it is already too late. Krishna Sainanee’s story is one such inspiring journey—a testament to the fact that dreams have no expiry date.
A Senior Executive (Marketing) at the prestigious Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd. (BHEL) for 39 years, Krishna was celebrated for her professional excellence and recognized with the "Best Executive of the Quarter" award. But her creative journey truly caught fire after retirement, stepping into the world of film at age 62 as a Director, Producer, and Writer.
"A spark lit in childhood can never be hidden."
With courage as her compass and conviction as her guide, she refused to remain silent, rose above barriers, and created her own identity. Her debut short film, "Key to Happiness", received 7 International Film Festival Awards, including honors from Hollywood and Eastern Europe.
Her second film, "Tanhai"—a poignant story of the silent loneliness faced by parents—touched hearts across the world, earning 9 International Film Festival Awards, including the Indian Panorama, Iconic Pride India, and Iconic Bharat Gaurav Puraskar awards.

But beyond awards, what matters most to her is the message: that every voice deserves to be heard, and every woman deserves respect, opportunity, and the freedom to dream. "I only say 'GOD is great'."
